Georgia Powder Coating is PCI 3000 Certified

July 10, 2024

Dear Manufacturer:

Powder Coating is an exceptionally high-quality finish for your products. The performance of powder coating depends on the quality of the substrate, preparation, powder material selected, application process and curing process. To realize the best possible performance, the correct procedures must be followed within each process. These procedures are developed based on the end-user’s desired aesthetics and the end-use performance requirements of the finish.

The PCI Certification Program is designed to acknowledge coaters who understand the correct procedures and process needed to achieve the performance required for your product. The coating system and process have been carefully audited by a PCI authorized inspector to determine they have the capability to meet the high-performance standards necessary to achieve PCI Certification.
There are ten (10) areas where coaters are evaluated. To achieve Certification, the Coater must pass all the (10) critical performance areas:

  • Surface Preparation
  • Ovens and Curing
  • Booth & Recovery
  • Powder Application
  • Incoming Quality Control
  • Training
  • Maintenance
  • Process Management
  • Final Quality Control
  • Loading, Unloading and Packaging

We recognize that Georgia Powder Coating, has been audited and achieved PCI 3000 recertification valid through July 2025.
